Brett began his career in Accenture’s Global Financial Services practice in Chicago, spending several years working on global financial system implementations within the insurance and banking industries. Brett moved onto financial sales and account management roles with United Healthcare and Capital One Bank.
After spending years working with global Fortune 500 organizations in multiple financial consulting roles, Brett joined a growing tax credit consulting company as CFO. He was charged with building a finance department capable of safeguarding company assets, ensuring successful required annual public audits and delivering all financial reporting to outside stakeholders. Additionally, he oversaw operations of all business units, marketed existing products into new territories, and performed periodic quality control client site visits to increase client retention.
Brett enjoys utilizing his extensive background in finance to help business owners make the right strategic decisions. He holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting and Business from the University of Kansas.
Brett and his wife are longtime Kansas Citians and the proud parents of four daughters. Brett's other passions include the Kansas Jayhawks basketball, coaching local youth basketball teams, and jogging. He is involved and volunteers in several charitable organizations including Catholic Charities, Unbound, Cristo Rey Academy, Harvesters – Kansas City Food Pantry, and St. Ann's Catholic Church.
