As a finance leader, Lydia believes in the power of understanding the drivers behind a business’ financial results. Her specialties are financial planning/budgeting and business analysis. She gained this expertise through over 25 years of leadership positions as Finance Director, Treasurer, CFO, and President in a variety of industries and businesses both large and small, profit and non-profit.
Lydia understands the importance of all business disciplines – sales, marketing, operations, finance – working closely together to set and measure strategic goals, to get behind the numbers, and develop actionable plans to move the business forward with focus. She values transparency and “plain English” in the communication of business results to all interested parties, from employees at all levels to the board of directors. Lydia enjoys helping e2E clients plan and implement growth strategies and working actively to ensure the finance function leads the way in enabling the achievement of business goals.
Lydia began her career in public accounting, later moving into a wide variety of corporate finance roles. More recently, Lydia led a startup natural foods manufacturing business through a phase of rapid growth, with the company receiving honors as a member of the 2016 Inc. 5000 and the 2017 Ingram’s 100 in recognition of its top-line growth.
Lydia received bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Business Administration from the University of Kansas. She has been an active community volunteer her entire adult life, serving on boards of directors for non-profits in performing arts and health and social services organizations. She currently serves on the board of directors for the Unicorn Theatre and the Food Equality Initiative, as well as Treasurer of Community Christian Church.
Lydia and her husband, Art, have raised two boys and are currently exploring the opportunities that a newly empty nest brings. They are active in their church and enjoy travel and the performing arts. Lydia is also passionate about Kansas men’s basketball and reading books of all genres.
